I had a couple chances to acquire some antique cars more than the decades, and fate, for a few reason, generally appears to block me. The moment in Montona, I witnessed a decent (I do think) ’30 Ford truck, although the person who owned the location was for the phone, which appeared like hours. When he acquired off the phone I told him I used to be considering the truck, and he told me he just sold it more than the phone. I hate Ma Bell lol My 2nd chance, was to acquire a ’36 Dodge Bros Bobtail coupe. I tried to beg, borrow, and basically considered stealin’ the askin’ price of only $800. It was all orginal, straight human body, fantastic interior, and it ran like a sewin’ machine. One I Never might have bought, was a ’36 Ford Victoria with the suicide doors, from some neighbors of ours who inherited it through the original owners. The ONLY detail I noticed that wasn’t original, was the convert signal indicator. Everytime I went to their dwelling, I had been in the basement, sittin’ in that wonderful car, just day dreamin’. Cars now are crap, haven’t any personality, and all appear the exact same. When you have and older vehicle to promote, signal a contract together with the buyer, that it it least retains nearly all of it really is original appear, or else, you just pee’d a vanishing element of your Best part of cars/trucks. AND, if you have received certainly one of these just sittin’ all around, and somebody delivers you excellent really hard cash for it…..Offer IT! It is really worth nothin’ when you just enable it sit and change to rust, as was the case of the ’57 Chevy Apache p/u a few country miles from here. Last but not least they sold it, and I rejoiced! lol. For now, not seriously an antique, but I’ve acquired a ’71 Chevy C10 p/u. She aint quite nevertheless…but gimme time gents….just gimme time!
